Get ready for another Queer Clothing Swap event hosted at Shoppe and Tailor Studios! Join us on June 6th from 7-9 pm for a cute evening of swapping and trading fabulous preloved clothes. Bring your clean, gently used clothing items cluttering up your closet. While some of your cherished clothing may no longer fit your taste in style or size, someone else may just find pure joy in claiming your once-loved items! Allies welcome! We LOVE our allies!!
Schedule 7:00pm - 9:00pm Drop-in style, but if you snooze, you may lose on a great find!
Arrive with your clean clothes to trade, and lay them out in the appropriate spot (follow our signs!)
If you'd like, throw a piece of tape on it labeled with the approx size to help others out with their search.

Try on your items in our fitting room, fall in love with yourself over and over again. We're here to help cheer you on :)
Leave, knowing you just kept some good clothes out of the landfill and are going to look amazing in your new treasures!
It is not mandatory to bring any clothing OR take any clothing in order to participate in this event.
Please only bring clean clothes that still have some life left in them--imagine that you’re passing each beloved piece off to your best friend. Please be considerate that some guests may have pet allergies--ensure all items are freshly washed! Items that are dirty, too worn, etc will not be accepted for the swap.
Trying things on: We have private curtained fitting rooms and mirrors for you to try your new fits on and make sure you love them. Better yet, if you find something you love but it doesn't fit quite right, sign up for a Tailoring Basics workshop and learn how to alter it to fit you perfectly! (Or if you know your way around a needle & thread, bring it to our next PWYC Craft Night on Monday June 10th from 6-8pm and work on it then!)
Accessibility
There are 15 stairs down into the studio space, we are unfortunately not a fully accessible venue due to being in a lower level.
We have an all-gender, but narrow washroom.
The studio has an assortment of incandescent, LED & diffused fluorescent work lighting, no flashing/strobes.
We'll be playing some music on a speaker in the far end of the studio, and we have disposable earplugs available for those who need them.
no pets or undocumented service animals are allowed in accordance with the AODA.
Shoppe and Tailor Studios strives to be a scent-free space. Please avoid wearing perfumes for this event.
